The public record now connects the fourth REPHRAIN call to the Cambridge-led Toolbox award and exposes an actual, separately credited Work Package 2 output. It does not expose the Toolbox's award value, payment schedule, final acceptance, publication-rights clause or split between work packages.
For the Westpac-supported survey, the referenced OSF registration is now readable in both original and revised form. It expressly records registration after analysis, and therefore cannot establish an analysis plan fixed before data collection. The authors' methods account explains a scope expansion and recruitment arrangement, but supplies neither the grant agreement nor a per-output budget. This improves the money map by narrowing the unresolved instrument, rather than assigning existing large amounts to later publications.
The centre announced on 18 January 2024 that four projects had received grants following competition; the Toolbox is one of them. UKRI's EP/V011189/1 record identifies a Cambridge collaboration under call four with a 2023 start year, and says its outputs feed the centre's research resources. The March2025 date on the current project page is a page date; it must not be substituted for an award start.
The same UKRI record links the WP2 reliability-analysis page. That artifact is dated 1 October2024 and credits Matthew Richards, Sakshi Ghai and Amy Orben. Its rationale names an evaluation report and shareable analytical code, alongside intended updating with Cambridge/LSE/UNICEF teams through2025. This is a real published work product; it is separate from the retained December2024 DFC WorkPackage3 report. I read its identity and rationale, not its scientific validity or executable code.
UKRI's GBP6,972,599, funded September2020-August2024, belongs to the parent centre award. It supplies no basis for a Toolbox or DFC allocation. Two similarly titled UKRI outcome rows also differ on whether material was supplied to others; the public linked artifact prevents treating that metadata difference as evidence of concealed research. The rows are not two awards.
What would change interpretation: the Cambridge/Bristol award letter and cost schedule, the collaboration or subaward agreement, work-package budget, and actual output-acceptance/publication clauses. REPHRAIN/Bristol and Cambridge are the identifiable institutional holders. Announced funding and integration of outputs are established; donor editing, approval or veto is not.
Childlight2025 StudyC, PDF32/printed24, links http[local research file] and identifies HC220317**. An ordinary public API request recovered the registration and its linked response history.
The registration timestamp is 10 November2023,16:41:26 UTC. Both original and revised answers to q8 / Existing Data say “Registration following analysis of the data”. The generic template name is OSF Preregistration; the actual selected answer governs this classification.
The original response record 654e5d376caf8e05d96f32fe leaves measured variables and statistical models as TBC. Revision 65703b40788e5c03f74629f4, submitted 6 December2023, fills those sections, including internet banking, cryptocurrency and privacy-software measures. The current registration endpoint contains these revised responses; they must not be backdated to10 November. The revised model description cautions against causal inference from cross-sectional data.
Neither response version supplies grant amount, payment schedule, a funding-role statement or publication rights. Post-analysis registration is a declared evidentiary limitation, not proof of misconduct. It also cannot show that a bank selected the later financial-monitoring recommendations.
Whitten, Salter and Woodlock's 29 July2025 CrimRxiv methodology preprint, release1, reports an original design for3,000Australian men, Westpac funding, and advisory review. It says CloudResearch subsequently recruited/administered through PrimePanels after an earlier contractor declined the subject matter. This is the authors' account, not vendor correspondence or an executed service contract.
The authors report expansion to UK/US samples after ethical and stakeholder approval at no extra cost, with fieldwork in November-December2022. Neither approving individuals nor the cost baseline is specified. The statement does not establish that later analyses, publication or institutional support cost nothing.
StudyC's4,918-person survey and protocol/ethics identifiers match this lineage. Another2025 chapter, Swipe wrong, links the same registration and funding acknowledgment (PDF43/printed35). Shared data and acknowledgments are not separate awards. No2021$150,000-to-2025StudyC budget identity, ICMEC$25m earmark, or HDF allocation is established. Survey-team/UNSW/Westpac grant and amendment records are the next useful records.

The direct OSF web-reader route failed and its normal HTML route yielded a JavaScript shell; the public, unauthenticated registration API and linked response history succeeded. This is a completed substitute, not a protocol access gap.
The CrimRxiv article's ordinary GET returned403; the web reader exposed its text and publisher download links. The linked publisher plain-text export returned200 and is retained with its own hash. Failed PDF/plain-text web-parser requests were not treated as missing originals after that download succeeded.
The original long UKRI search URL failed in the web parser; an ordinary public search and the parent-grant page succeeded. No further search retry is needed.
The current REPHRAIN funding page concerns a different2025call. A targeted search found the old fourth-call announcement and a secondary ResearchConnect summary, but no executed project terms. An institutional RISCS archive substitute failed; REPHRAIN's public search endpoint returned401. Those routes were closed without attempting authentication or transplanting another call's terms. Secondary call ceilings were not promoted into project amounts.
A PMC article route presented a browser challenge; it was not bypassed. The already readable methodology paper was sufficient for the bounded implementation point. No no-role-by-funder declaration was acquired. Absence of one in the read protocol/methods passages does not prove none exists elsewhere.
The handoff contains4newnodes,5newedges and2updates to existing edges. It creates no new money-flow edge and changes no existing amount. The source families remain separate from independent corroboration: OSF template/current/history are one platform record; the author methods text and Childlight report share research ancestry; UKRI outcomes contain researcher reports rather than an independent acceptance audit.
