Commercial publishing and distribution of competing AI narratives

Rohan Paul

AI commentator and publisher of Rohan’s Bytes, identified by @rohanpaul_ai and his own linked publishing accounts.

Identity and business

This record concerns the publisher linked from github.com/rohan-paul and rohan-paul.com. It is not the IIT Delhi robotics researcher with the same name. His publication carries named commercial sponsorships; legal ownership and individual contracts were not inspected.

What he amplified

September posts circulate Coxon’s warnings and Anthropic’s assessment. Other inspected output recommends reading David Sacks and presents favorable local-model coverage. Repetition shows distribution; it does not establish sponsorship of those particular opinions.

A concrete framing issue

The August 18 edition’s headline says Astra reached a critical capability level; the body describes an inability to rule that level out. That is a consequential difference in certainty. It does not by itself establish deliberate deception or a paid policy campaign.
