Association governance and specified fund-appointment authority
NAAG's Executive Committee is described on the association's current leadership page as a thirteen-attorney-general body responsible for organisational funds, property and management. It also employs the executive director.
The 2016 VW fund rules give the Executive Committee appointment approval while reserving grants to a special committee. If that committee finds the fund's purpose no longer exists, the Executive Committee may dissolve it and direct remaining money to NAAG's General Fund. The 2012 financial-services fund separately provides appointment approval. The current leadership page does not establish which present members approved historical grants or supply a complete amendment trail for consolidated committees.
