Alliance KYBC proposal — internal August2020
This is the Alliance for Intellectual Property's business-verification proposal in its response to the CMA Digital Markets Taskforce, internally dated August 2020. It advocates stronger identity checks by critical online services and consequences for businesses withholding identifying information.

The CMA published the response on 8 December 2020; that date is not its receipt date or a decision adopting it. The proposal predates RUSI's March 2021 report. The Alliance's separately captured Online Accountability page advocates verification across hosts, advertising, proxies, payment services and marketplaces.
