Design record showing how existing information enters research development

AI4TRUST D2.1 methodological toolbox

AI4TRUST deliverable D2.1, Design of the Methodological Toolbox, is a research-design document submitted on 1 November 2023. It describes sampling, contributed resources, annotation considerations and planned access conditions for the project's analytical work.

Contributions and review status

D2.1 uses existing GDI lists among research, media and fact-checker inputs, with some ChatGPT suggestions. It describes refinement of broad lists, purpose-limited collection and consortium access dependent on data-sharing agreements. FBK is editor, UCAM is named reviewer, and the document marks coordinator acceptance and readiness for submission. Those internal designations do not establish European Commission acceptance, an executed GDI licence or actual runtime settings. The retained reading covered selected design and annex passages rather than a complete ninety-page audit.

What the records show

defines a mixed-source collection perimeter

Selected initial topics and reusable relevance/feasibility criteria guide development/test collection. Neutral topics coexist with charged language; broad lists are refined. Inclusion is not a person/site falsehood finding, automatic sanction list or proven runtime configuration.

edited and recorded coordinator review before submission

2023-11-01 – 2023-11-01

D2.1 identifies FBK as editor and records final coordinator review on 1 November 2023. PDF2 positively designates PU: Public, UCAM reviewer, Coordinator accepted and Ready for submission in bold. These are internal document designations, not Commission acceptance.

contributed pre-existing keyword resources to the design

Submitted1November2023; individual contribution dates unknown.

D2.1 explicitly uses existing GDI lists among research, media and fact-checker contributions and some ChatGPT suggestions. No individual seed term is attributed exclusively to GDI, and the report does not establish which legal entity owned each background asset.

describes purpose-limited collection and agreement-dependent access

Submitted1November2023; agreement execution not established.

Design record says planned collection is purpose-limited and consortium interface access depends on data-sharing agreements. Mentioned internal GDI policies and generic NCSR-D/FBK licence guidance are not executed GDI terms.

AI4TRUST D2.1 methodological toolboxD2.1 intersectional methodological framing

expressly adopts an intersectional methodological frame

PDF58-59 describes attention to harm, discrimination and social identity. The effect on annotation labels, thresholds or coverage remains a question for further records, not an observed exclusion result.
