A scheduled venue connecting advocacy constituencies

Pro-Human Assembly — September 2026

The Pro-Human Assembly is a Washington event scheduled for September 15,2026, presented by the Future of Life Institute. Its agenda combines elected officials, labor, faith, parents and creators around AI governance.

The assembly follows the Pro-Human AI Declaration announced in March. That earlier statement already included Steve Bannon among its endorsers. The September programme therefore extends an established coalition platform; it cannot by itself establish how the latest wave of public warnings was organized or funded.

FLI is named as presenter, and its officers open and close the programme. Sanders and Bannon have consecutive afternoon slots. A Frank McCourt session is labelled for a coalition announcement. These arrangements establish the organizer’s published plan, including opportunities to align constituencies; they do not establish what participants will say, agree to or deliver.

Axios updated its report on September 14 to say Coxon and the organizers confirmed he would not attend. The organizer homepage still lists him; the linked programme does not. We have corrected the earlier reported-participation edge and retained its original observation. This is a change in the reported plan, with an unresolved website mismatch, not evidence of his motive.

The next evidence is unusually obtainable: the actual speeches, recording, final programme and any joint text or sponsor disclosures. Those records can distinguish a broad public convening from a coordinated legislative effort and explain which participants can turn a shared principle into a binding obligation.
