Anri van der Spuy
Anri van der Spuy is one of six credited authors of the December 2024 DFC report setting out principles for addressing technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse. That report subsequently became a source in Australian eSafety guidance.
The published contribution
The report cover names van der Spuy alongside Witting, Burton, Day, Livingstone and Sylwander. eSafety later cited the report for discussion of platform hopping and beside a separate encryption recommendation. The retained evidence does not allocate individual passages among the six authors, so neither recommendation should be attributed personally to van der Spuy without further drafting evidence.

Sylwander. The report cover and p61 citation identify a Digital Futures for Children centre publication; the LSE repository calls it a technical report. The toolkit citation instead includes Security and Safety, vol.4 . That is a bibliographic discrepancy, not yet proof of an incorrectly linked document.
