Leading the Future is a US federal political committee registered with the Federal Election Commission as C00916114. Its filings show substantial receipts and transfers to other committees, including Think Big. Those records make it a funding hub in the campaign's examination of electoral activity around AI policy.
Receipts, transfers and the accounting boundary
The FEC summary reports $75,788,224.10 in receipts through 30 June 2026. Retained filings include separate $12.5 million individual contributions from Greg and Anna Brockman on 12 September 2025, and two other filed contributions totalling $50 million. LTF's 24 February 2026 $5 million transfer to Think Big is part of its reported $40 million committee-transfer aggregate, not additional outside money. Reported affiliation with Build American AI does not trace those filed donations into a particular creator payment.

The separately reviewed Leading the Future filings record two $25 million a16z contributions, received on 22 August 2025 and 11 February 2026. Greg and Anna Brockman's separate individual contributions are not OpenAI corporate money. A $5 million transfer to Think Big on 24 February 2026 is downstream committee money, not another outside donor contribution.
