Customer authority over settings and downstream enforcement
This is the customer platform or subscriber role in the Checkstep and Sightengine workflow, rather than a named company. The customer selects models, configures policy thresholds and connects moderation decisions to its own service.
The documentation gives customers policy and model choices and requires implementation of decision-event handlers. Events can cover content removal and restoration, account actions and upheld or overturned incidents. Checkstep's terms provide an email opt-out from customer-data machine-learning use. Ordinary Sightengine subscriber data follows a processor arrangement, requiring proper controller authority. The record describes available mechanisms rather than any identified customer's settings, opt-out election or completed appeal.
