Forum through which different institutions develop and circulate policy material
World Economic Forum
The World Economic Forum appears here as a convenor and publisher across several policy fields. In online safety it convened Global Coalition for Digital Safety work, including principles and a 2023 harm typology. Other retained records concern an earlier nuclear-security republication and a biological-risk roundtable.
Distinct outputs and events
The January 2023 principles account names companies, regulators and NGOs in joint work; the August typology supplies a contextual vocabulary of online harms. Separately, WEF republished a Des Browne co-authored article in March 2015 and co-hosted a biological-risk roundtable with the Nuclear Threat Initiative on 20 September 2017. Those historical publication and event links do not establish a ControlAI partnership or authority over participating regulators.
Official annual report records participation in WEF's Global Coalition for Digital Safety. This is distinct from WEF's Digital Trust programme and establishes no WEF control over eSafety.
