Institutional authorisation and broader budget context for planned deployment
WIPO's approved Programme of Work and Budget for 2026/27 includes ALERT-PAY deployment among its priorities. The official budget page records Member State approval in July 2025, following Director General submission.
The programme allocates CHF 2.858 million to Expected Result 2.3. That is a broader result allocation, not an ALERT-PAY earmark. Annual reporting provides an accountability route for programme delivery, but approval is not evidence of software acceptance, launch, a supplier payment or authority to compel a payment provider's merchant decision.
